Though many will look down on laughably easy Trophy games that can be Platinumed in five minutes or less, some find them oddly relaxing and satisfying. January’s lineup will look familiar to those who have kept up with easy Trophy games, as there are some new entries in ongoing series as well as fresh games in genres known for providing easy achievements. Though no game on this list will reward players with Trophies to be proud of, all will help them climb their way up to level 999.

Breaking Down January 2023’s Easy Trophy Games

First and foremost, Trophy hunters will likely notice that clicker games remain an easy route to take for some quick achievements. Four new Jumping games released in January, all of which also get a TURBO variant. Players can buy each version twice for PS4 and PS5 lists, too, meaning that there are 16 potential Platinums for what is essentially the same game. All that players will need to do for each is spend a few minutes pressing a button.

For those looking for super quick and cheap Platinums, there are a few titles worth noting. For just $1.50, gamers can get access to the quickest Platinum of the month, the self-explanatory Find The Bug. Reminiscent of the Quiz games, this Platinum only takes 30 seconds to get and could end up sparking a series. Flipy is just slightly lengthier at a minute-long, and it taks its players with lining up some colored blocks as they drop onto a tower. It is only $2, though for Trophy hunters with just $1 to spare, Welcome to the World of Nik and Kat can be cleared in two minutes with some basic jumping skills. Astro and Suzy Go To The Beach may take a bit longer at 20 minutes, but for $1, it’s a steal.

PlayStation Plus Premium users get access to another easy Platinum through their subscription, as they can exploit the rewind function to clear Super Stardust Portable’s list in a few hours with minimal difficulty. Just like with the PS Plus Premium game Pinball Heroes, there are two stacks available, so fans of twin stick shooters could snag a couple shiny Platinums for their Trophy cases. Though there are far better games available within the PlayStation Store, those simply seeking to add to their Trophy counts may want to snag a few of January’s visual novels or cheesy jumping games.
